Message from CEO/Founder, Wilson Alvarez.

When I founded MiamiBusiness.com with the B2B concept, it was my goal to bring together high-level like minded professionals, to share their knowledge with the group in a think tank style. The caliber of our members and the relationships that have developed is something special. Not only are we sharing our experiences and ideas on a weekly basis, but we are doing business with one another making it a win-win for all our members.

A few months back, one of our members invited me to visit Haiti after the earthquake. Upon my arrival and experience at the Mission of Hope, I knew that I had to do something to help those people and most importantly the children of Haiti. Returning to Miami and sharing my experience with the B2B groups, I was immediately supported in hosting a Gala to benefit Mission of Hope Haiti. Diana Delgado, president of Right Hire Staffing Solutions, quickly took charge and led this great cause. Armando Trabanco from US Century Bank, which also went to Haiti, was instrumental in making the Gala a reality.

I want to thank Rev. Eddie Rivero for giving me the opportunity to experience Mission of Hope in Haiti and to Diana Delgado for taking the lead on this project and making it such a great success. To all of the Miami B2B members who said yes and truly proved their professionalism and commitment to being good corporate citizens, I say Thank You!
